Meet the director
Kel Bonton is an accomplished, award-winning business owner, creative husband, and father of three who turned his dreams into reality. Since his days at Peabody high school, the Alexandria native has always loved the arts. After graduating high school in 2008, he cultivated his talents at the University of Monroe, Louisiana receiving a degree in Mass Communication in 2012. Throughout his career, Mr. Bonton sharpened and refined his skills at KLAX-TV as a production assistant. He always knew there was more in store on his journey to becoming. For a decade, Mr. Bonton worked on his craft and remained steadfast on the path God set out for him.
Years later, he launched a production company titled Bonton Media. While building, his foundation stood firm on his beliefs and took a leap of faith, expanding his resume. In 2019 Bonton media was awarded the GOLD award by the Talley awards alongside significant media companies such as CBS Interactive, Dow Jones, and Viacom. He has worked with various corporations across Louisiana, among other states. Mr. Bonton believes in providing quality work. His work is extensive, ranging from commercials to narrative films and more.
Mr. Bonton made a name for himself and his production company by working with high-profile clients, including LSU, City of Alexandria, Alexandria Police Department, UTLX, Gilchrist Construction, Ugly Mug Marketing, Louisiana Christian University, Cleco, Avoyelles Parish School Board, Children's Advocacy Network, Spurgeon Law Firm, Hunter & Beck, Ben Luke Law Firm, Jalen Richard, Peabody Magnet High School, Calvary Baptist Church, United Way and many more. Mr. Bonton has built his production company based on purpose, and it has continued to thrive.
